MCF works with various companies and organisations in Beijing to help us achieve our two main goals – fundraising and education for migrant children in the city.

Using their resources, expertise and manpower these organisations support MCF through:

We are always interested in hearing new fundraising ideas to help MCF maintain its programs. Whether its an in-office casual Friday or a sponsored run, we would be happy to hear your ideas or come to the office and brainstorm with you.

These can range from financial donations to book drives or be tailored towards a specific program like our Secret Santa, where you and your colleagues can donate toys to be wrapped and given to migrant children in schools across the city. And if you know Father Christmas, you can even bring him and his elves along and hand them out yourself.

If you’re thinking bigger and would like to organise an event for MCF then contact our events coordinator, Caroline (, and tell us your idea. We can also offer support in organising and promoting the event. Past events have included fairs, concerts and bake sales.

Throughout the year MCF holds three major events and we are always looking for companies to sponsor them or aspects of them. From the printing of tickets and promotional materials to offering raffle prizes, we welcome support in helping make our events the best possible experience for those who attend and will do our utmost to promote companies that wish to support us through sponsorship.

If your area of interest lies in a hands on approach to the problems migrant children face then you may wish to get involved in one of our educational programs or create a special program tailored to the skills of your workforce. We want to offer our students the chance to participate in a wide variety of lessons and experiences, from specially crafted arts lessons to day trips around Beijing. We believe lessons and experiences like these are important in ensuring a comprehensive education and a better, happier child with an increased awareness of the world and a better perspective on life. If you have any ideas with regards to education or day trips, please contact our curriculum coordinator, Lorna, at
